Existing Boiler Efficiency

  • Q : Our boiler is already achieving a high thermal efficiency of 80%. Can Actigain give savings in this highly efficient boiler?
  • A1 : Your existing efficiency of the boiler is not a factor with Actigain technology.
  • Hence you will still be in a position to achieve a good saving using Actigain Technology
  • Actigain technology is all about qualitative heat generation, qualitative heat distribution, qualitative heat absorption
  • The change in the efficiency is due to comparisons between heat quantity balance and heat quality and quantity balance
  • The efficiency difference is between 2 different states of equilibrium conditions

Heat Availability

  • Q : How can Actigain give savings when heat availability is the same in the Biomass?
  • A2 : Strictly speaking, the heat available in Biomass  does not mean that all the heat is transferable
  • Heat is produced both in intensive and non intensive forms
  • Intensive heat is highly transferable and non intensive heat is non transferable
  • If you look more deeply it is not the quantity of heat which makes the impact but the quality of heat availability which creates the impact
  • With Actigain the quality of heat generated, quality of heat distributed and quality of heat absorbed is much higher than normal heat
  • Actigain converts all heat intensively and hence you achieve a higher transferability factor

Low UBC %
  • Q : Our unburnt carbon is already very low. Is it still possible to get the savings?
  • A3 : The savings guaranteed to you are independent of the unburnt carbon in Ash
  • Irrespective of UBC in Ash, you still achieve better savings due to improvements in heat transferability factors
  • Actigain will achieve savings even when the unburnt carbon is zero

The Kyoto Protocol is an
international agreement
for countries (Malaysia included)
to cut their greenhouse gas emissions
- partly responsible for global warming

Countries under the Kyoto Protocol
agreement have to cut their combined
emissions to 5% below 1990 levels by
2008 – 2012

Malaysia has officially declared
a 10% on energy savings *
